Creative Space

A challenge was issued by Paper Imagery Designs, such a fun, inspiring group!, to post photos of our creative spaces. These were taken before it got really messy, I've added 3 sets of rolling drawer bins and you can't see the top of either table, but I post these to encourage myself to clean up my act!
Our dog, Leo (Tolstoy:) enjoys the best view - I try to make time to journal and watch the birds at eye level, always helpful to have a different perspective.
I've promised myself that I will resume my 'hour a day' minimum in the Altered Attic - it has been way too long!

LOL at Linda's comment! It looks like a wonderful space to create. Love the window seat as well. I wish I had a wide open space to be in rather than smack dab in the middle of the dining room. I better get my tail in gear too. Thanksgiving is coming and I really need it cleaned off by then...LOL!

..Oh and yes, I did catch the comment that you were originally from Western NY. I'm from Dunkirk , NY originally. A lot of my family is from Silver Creek ((hence my little play on words for my last piece created, Blue Creek))) and that's where I grew up until 8th grade, then moved to Dunkirk.

:) Small world.

I'm "jealous" of the amount of space you actually have -- I crave this much space!!!

Great space, great photo of Leo in the window seat.

But really, I'm writing to tell you that I'm so glad you tracked down Frederick Douglass' words and got them right. It's a quote that deserves to not be given short shrift. Thank you!
Wow!!! What an awesome space! I would love to have a place to sit down and relax like you do! Jealous for sure!

Patti,
I want your studio! The natural light ....what a prize! Leo looks like a sweetie pie....Thanks for stopping by to visit. You were wondering about our weather...We are having a few thunderstorms today. Whatever dear Fay decides to do after she leaves Florida will determine how wet our weekend in Dixie will be. Your folks will probably have some raindrops fallin' on them though. If Fay takes a northward turn...lots of raindrops here then...but we are 90 north of Montgomery. A "Tara" house in Montgomery. Divine!!!! I'm jealous, too! Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Marilyn
