Vintage Light Switch Plates

One word of warning when using alcohol ink...and most of you probably already know - wear gloves!! I went to church this morning looking like I'd just changed the oil in my car, which wouldn't be bad I suppose.... But, it doesn't wash off!!

Love the light switch - not the only one who does, I see - glad they're selling! It's rather belated of me, but love the image at the head of your blog, too. And, of course, your writing. xo

What a gorgeous lightswitch! Do you prime them first? Sandpaper? Where are you able to sell them? They're just beautiful. Congrats.

Love your new piece--it's very cool even though making it was dangerous work!! I can understand completely--I have to be careful as I'm a bank manager and often times, if not careful, my hands look like an auto mechanics hands with all the paint mess and alcohol inks I play with!!

Thank you for your heartfelt comments left yesterday...hugs

Great job on the switchplate! I always wonder what people think when I go out with stained hands-lol! Oh well, it's fun work we do. Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog, I appreciate it:-)

Hello Dear,
I know exactly what you mean ~ except I often forget and go out without scrubbing very hard and then I see my hands ~ AAAACCC! which leads to a severe case of trying to hide my hands from others.

You have won my bird box and I would love to send it to you and I will, let me check and see if I have your addy.

Much Love,
me
